An RFP was issued in May 2023 to select a vendor to lead a managed print services program for Emory University.
The selected vendor will focus on 6 areas:
- Cost savings
- Optimization of fleet
- Increased print efficiencies and conservation of OIT resources
- Reduction of environmental impact and consumption
- Improved end user experience and convenience
- Increased security for sensitive documents and device compliance
The scope of managed print services will include:
- Multifunction devices (printer, copier, scanner, fax)
- Desktop printers
- Management and monitoring tools for departmental leaders
- Print security
- Streamlined accounting and payment processing
- Equipment service and preventative maintenance
- Supply monitoring and ordering
- Document Production Center
